Creating a New Project
Overview
Creating a Project in Vizit is the first step to analyzing your visual assets. Projects allow you to organize, test, and optimize images with targeted audience insights and benchmarks. Whether you're comparing designs, preparing for seasonal launches, or evaluating creative concepts, Projects help you make data-informed content decisions.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Open the Projects Page
- Log into the Vizit platform.
Click “Projects” in the top navigation bar.
Step 2: Create a New Project
- Click the “+ Create Project” button.
- Enter a project name that clearly describes what you're testing (e.g., “Spring Hero Concepts” or “Halloween Carousel”).
Select the appropriate Audience Lens — this ensures your content is scored based on your target audience’s preferences.
Choose one or more Benchmarks for comparison. You can:
- Select existing benchmarks, or
- Import benchmarks from Monitoring
Or create a new benchmark from manually uploaded images
💡 Tip: Use separate benchmarks for Hero and Carousel images to ensure accurate scoring.
Step 3: Upload Your Assets
In your new project, click “Upload Assets” or drag and drop files directly.
Organize your assets using folders and tags:
- Folders help segment by concept, campaign, or round.
- Tags can identify asset type, version, SKU, or campaign.
Step 4: Apply AI Tasks
Once your images are uploaded, click the purple “Apply AI Tasks” button to:
- Generate Vizit Scores
- Rank Content
- Identify Visual Appeal Drivers & Detractors
- Overlay Attention Maps
- Predict Gaze Sequence and more.
These insights help you understand how your audience will perceive your visuals—and where improvements can be made.
Best Practices
- Choose descriptive project and folder names so your team can easily locate and reuse them.
- Start with at least 30 assets in your benchmark for reliable scoring.
- Reuse high-performing assets across projects by duplicating them or copying between folders.
