Project Folders and Tags

One of the most valuable aspects of the Vizit platform is the flexibility you have in organizing project images. This flexibility is provided by folders and tags.

Folders

Folders enable you to organize content in any way that makes sense for your project or analysis.

You can also create sub-folders for further segmentation.

Folder Examples:

  • For a project set up for a brand, you can create folders for each product category within that brand, and sub-folders for individual products.
  • For a project set up for a specific retailer, such as Amazon, you can create folders for Amazon product categories.
  • For a project set up for social media images, you can create sub-folders for different social media platforms. Within each social media folder, you can have sub-folders for hero and carousel images.
  • Folders are great for iterative testing; you can set up folders for Round 1, Round 2, etc.

Tags

Tags are a label, keyword, or term assigned to an image. 

Visible in a project or folder when the Show Tags slider is on, tags enable you to segment content -  filtering subsets of images within a project or folder - without having to silo images into separate folders or sub-folders.

Tags can be assigned to images upon upload, assigned to images already uploaded, and managed in the Tag manager (available for admin users only).

 

You can segment images by multiple tags at once, which enables you to obtain very specific subsets of images, and explore trends at a granular level. For example, you can analyze images tagged with a specific region, brand, and asset type.

 

There are many ways to tag images, so we recommend strategizing with your teams to determine what works best for your organization. 


Tag Examples:

  • Region or market (North America, dog owners)
  • Owned images and competitor images
  • SKU/ASIN/GTIN
  • Asset type (product vs. supporting, hero vs. carousel)
  • Image focus (people, product, text)
  • Type of carousel or supporting image (claims, endorsements, guidelines, application, before/after)
  • Design elements (color, background, font, logos, angles, 2D vs 3D)
