Why do I need to sign into Vizit using Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
If your Vizit account is asking you to register and/or sign in using 2FA, this means your organization has required all users in their Vizit account to follow this protocol for extra security.
Which authentication app should I use?
You can view this list of authenticator apps that are compatible with Vizit.
I cannot scan the QR code. What should I do?
If you are unable to use a mobile device to scan the QR code Vizit provides, you may manually enter (or copy and paste) a code into your authenticator app. The code is below the QR code on the Vizit 2FA page.
The code my authenticator app is producing is not working in Vizit. What should I do?
Reasons why the code your authenticator app is producing does not work in Vizit:
- You entered the code incorrectly. Double-check the code you entered to make sure it matches what was produced by your app.
- The code has expired. Most authenticator apps produce new codes for each app every 30 to 60 seconds. Make sure the code you entered is still the code being shown on your app.
If trying to two approaches above does not fix the issue, please reach out to Vizit's support to help you fix the issue.
I lost access to the device with my code on it. What should I do?
If you have lost access to the device that is producing your 2FA code for Vizit, please reach out to Vizit's support to help you regain access to your account.
